Brace yourselves, Marvel fans. The second trailer for Captain Marvel came out today to feed our excitement even more. And I must say, Carol Danvers debut to MCU is looking good so far.
The trailer teased their focus on Carol Danvers’ origin story. Set in 1995, the part Kree superhero goes back to Earth after years of absence.With her memory as a former airforce pilot wiped out, she ventures further on retrieving her memories, along with a young Nick Fury to aid her.

Captain Marvel is MCU’s first female superhero with a standalone film. It’ll serve as a prequel rather than a follow-up on the events of Avengers: Infinity War. But with Nick Fury paging Captain Marvel after the end of Infinity War, it’s safe to assume that we might be getting some scenes referencing to the third Avengers film.
The film is set to released on March 2019.
