My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade Gets A Reissue For Its 10th Anniversary

Here’s one thing most of you, save for the very hardcore My Chemical Romance fans out there, didn’t see coming: 2016 marks 10 years since their iconic album The Black Parade dropped on all our young souls, and today it’s confirmed that they’re reissuing the record.

Earlier today, a mysterious video featuring the famous piano intro of “Welcome to the Black Parade,” a My Chemical Romance “MCRX” logo, and the date “9/23/16” went up on the band’s Facebook page.

People were wondering what it all meant, but EW is reporting that the album is going to be reissued on the aforementioned date, complete with unreleased demos. There’s no official word yet that this is going to lead to a new tour (the first since their 2013 disbanding), but whatever it is, looks like it’s time to rejoin the Black Parade.
