The “Legion” and “Terrace House” star Lauren Tsai is an artist in all forms. She models, acts, and—if you’ve been following her for a long time now—you would know she’s a professional illustrator well.
Her online folio for her visual work is uploaded on @unreal.is.me, her art page on Instagram. You can see dark surrealist illustrations and sculptures making up her feed. Last November, Tsai unveiled her first-ever “UNREAL” sculpture filled with tentacle horns and human heads. Back in 2018, she released her first-ever sketchbook “It’s All for You.”

Good news for those who enjoyed her earlier work: There is a second book already in the works. Just yesterday, Jan. 12, Tsai made it known to everyone on her Instagram page that a second sketchbook “Passenger Seat” is on the way. She captioned: Sketchbook part 2. Coming soon!” The red hardbound cover teases a girl’s face with disintegrating parts, a trademark aesthetic for Tsai.
Will this be some sort of sequel of her first book, or will this be a completely different world? There aren’t many details yet for now, but we could all agree that a book signing in the Philippines wouldn’t be a bad idea..
