The world of fast-food combos gets weirder by the minute—we’re glaring at you, Double Down—and by the looks of things, the limits are becoming nonexistent. Case in point: Burger King’s latest sandwich offering isn’t stuffed with a patty—just fries.
Inspired by the UK’s chip butty, one serving of Burger King Chip Butty gives you two sesame-topped buns filled with a liberal amount of crispy golden fries. If you can’t let go of your carnivore tendencies, the fast-food restaurant also offers a smokey-flavored bacon add-on.
Sold exclusively in New Zealand (for the time being), the Burger King Chip Butty and Chip Butty with Bacon is priced at $2 and $3 NZD (approximately P65 and P97). There’s no news yet if this sandwich will find its way to other countries, so we’ll be here contemplating whether or not that’s good news.
