Bye, quitting my job for SM Entertainment’s K-pop Idol auditions

Popstar hopefuls, the time has come: SM Entertainment—the company behind global sensations Super Junior, EXO, Girls Generation and Red Velvet—is holding worldwide auditions to find their next Idol.

The requirements are simple: You must have been born between 2000 to 2010, and you have to be impressive as hell to catch SM Town’s eye and beat out the droves of applicants. There are no restrictions on nationality, gender or race.

Still qualify for the dream? Then here’s everything you need to shoot your shot with an email audition. You’ll need to prep a video of your dancing skills, a clear audio clip of your singing and unedited photos of your frontal and side portraits.

Don’t forget to send your application to the proper email. Applicants from Southeast Asian countries should send their entries to smaudition@smtown.com. You might have just taken the first step into joining the leagues of the biggest pop bands in the world.

Some success stories of SM Town’s global auditions are Red Velvet’s Wendy and Joy, Johnny, Mark, Renjun and Yuta of NCT. Excuse me while I prepare a resignation letter to pursue my dream. Fighting.
