We draw wild card Marco Gallo for our decade-end issue

SHARE

Our latest issue is not your typical year-ender. It also marks the end of the decade—and, along with it, the arrival of Marco Gallo as a name to look out for. Spirited, spontaneous and full of raw potential, he is the epitome of what we hope lays in store for us in the coming ‘20s. As we wave goodbye to the roller coaster era that was the ‘10s, we look forward to our individual growth and the progress of society as a whole.

Inside the #Scout37 issue, we delve into stories gearing towards sci-fi futurism (while remembering to keep our feet grounded on present-day realities): We talk about alien encounters, recreate astronaut food, feature young innovators in STEM and explore possible futures—both the hopeful and dystopian.

We also feature post cards coming from an alternate reality where the war on drugs has ended, a photo-gallery on youth activism, a letter to the future, and the creative spaces of artists Waiian of KARTELL’EM, Johann of Sound Architects, and solo acts Tala, and Pikoy.

SCOUT issue no. 37 #MarcoforSCOUT will be in select newsstands starting Dec. 22.
