It’s official: Troy and Abed are reuniting in 2020. They’re still soulmates even in our darkest timeline.
The “Community” gang is having an online reunion to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. They’ll be reading the season five episode “Cooperative Polygraphy,” which is the one where, uh, Pierce gave out his frozen sperm samples to the group after his death. Classic.
Attending the table read are Donald Glover (finally!), Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong and the man who started it all, Dan Harmon. Chevy Chase will not be joining, but at the very least we hope Pierce’s lava lamp—er, we mean Energon pod—will make an appearance.

After the read, there will also be a Q&A with questions pooled from fan submissions. If you’d like to submit a question, you can post about it on social media with the hashtag #AskCommunity and tag @CommunityTV. I, for one, want to ask Troy where the hell his voyage is now, and why it took him so long to come back.
The table read is happening on May 18 at 2 p.m. PT—that’s May 19 at 5 a.m. for the Philippines—on Sony Pictures TV’s “Community” YouTube page.
