Have you seen Edgar Wright’s film with a vibe like this? Yup, it’s the film softbois love to hate—“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” is now on Netflix Philippines. 

On May 22, Edgar Wright’s “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” finally arrived on our go-to streaming platform. It’s an adaptation of Bryan ’O Malley’s popular graphic novel series of the same name In the film, we see Michael Cera at his peak, Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s wide range and Aubrey Plaza’s classic dry wit jumping out. 

 

For a quick refresher, here’s a premise of this Edgar Wright classic: An enigmatic delivery girl named Ramona captures Scott Pilgrim’s heart. Yes, Scott would love to be with her—but he must go through her seven evil exes first. It’s a video game-inspired film filled with humor, love, music and most importantly, the Canadian tundra. 

Trashy men love to blame the film for ruining a generation of women. So, if you want to piss off some simp—it’s time to give “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” a rewatch.
