The digital library updated its arsenal on Sunday, Oct. 13, releasing 2,500 ready-to-play MS-DOS games including strategy, action and adventure titles most of us grew up with. This includes classics like “Contra,” “The Amazing Spider-man,” and “Ghostbusters II.”

We know these games are instant nostalgia fuel, but some are nightmarish too. Games like the eerie sci-fi classic “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream,” the gothic cyberpunk “Bloodnet” and the investigative thriller “Alone in the Dark” are also included on The Internet Archive’s list. “This will be our biggest update yet, ranging from tiny recent independent productions to long-forgotten big-name releases from decades ago,” Internet Archive software curator Jason Scott wrote on their site’s blog. Last year, they added over 200 retro LCD and LED games.

So retro gamers on the lookout for classic video games, this site is just what you need. Download your favorite games here.
