September may really be the month of Green Day, because fans are getting continuously fed. After folks of the internet deciphered the European and North American tour featuring the band alongside Fall Out Boy and Weezer, Philippine fans are treated to the news of Green Day coming to Manila.
The concert will be on March 14, 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Their stop in the Philippines is among many in Asia, including those in Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong.
While we’re expecting the usuals like “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and “21 Guns” to the set list, we’re also banking on new tracks to headbang to. The tour follows the February 7 release of their album, “Father Of All Mother****ers.” Alongside the announcement, the band also dropped the record’s title track.
They may not have Fall Out Boy and Weezer tagging along to this side of the world, but our inner emos are definitely thriving.
