Fun fact for you hip-hop enthusiasts: Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter turns 50 today. To celebrate HOV’s half-centennial birthday, the famed rapper hands us the gifts, as his entire discography returns to Spotify.

Five years ago with the launch of his streaming service TIDAL, Jay-Z previously removed his music—alongside other “artist-owners” Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and more—from the service’s direct competitors. While other artists have slowly trickled back to sites like Spotify, Jay-Z’s return is a whole other deal as the TIDAL owner himself.
