Hunkered down in self-isolation? For those in need of inspiring and feel-good beats, artists are sorting out their collections, giving us a peek of what they’re listening to during quarantine. After Virgil Abloh’s jazz and hip-hop mix, 88rising’s very own Joji has shared some of his own.
The 11-track playlist is as eclectic as it gets, with a wide range of genres straight out of shuffle. Among the hip-hop roster are household names 50 Cent with “Window Shopper” and Ludacris with “Move Bitch,” to which Joji says, “We definitely don’t want to be touching each other right now.”
Expect upstarts like Young MA and Z Money, both eagerly raved by Joji in his Billboard feature. Another crowd favorite who makes the cut is the one and only Harry Styles, featuring his track “Adore You.” “Knowing that Harry adores me during a time like this is very comforting,” Joji explains. “I need Harry at times like these.” Yep, we feel that.
