After a whole ass day of spitting bars, suave rhythms and a cultural reset disguised as a cover (see: Rich Brian’s own spin of “Superbass”), we went down to the final act of the Asia Rising Forever livestream with our emotions still on a roll. Well, it’s no surprise—South Korean girl group Loona just served us a cover of Niki’s “I Like U.”
Loona’s Yves, Chuu and Heejin sat down against a leaf-flooded backdrop, sent the viewers crazy and just owned the day. “We’ve been practicing so hard for this,” they said shortly after their set, adding a quick “I love you” to the audience and Niki before closing their performance. Now, can we have a collab already?
