Leave it to the dreamy style of Outerhope to have your one foot planted in reality, the other somewhere up in the hazy clouds. Or in this case, down into the depths of water.
The Filipino duo’s latest release is a music video for “Bridges Street”, an instrumental track off their 2018 LP, Vacation. The video is helmed once again by Dominic Bekaert and follows a woman played by Clèmentine Cmy as she hops in and out of a dreamlike state. Refractions seem to be a major theme in the video, manifesting either through mirrors, water or the state of mind.
With the absence of lyrics or a linear narrative, each listener is drawn to create their own daydream with the track. With that said, where is “Bridges Street” for you?
