On Instagram and Facebook yesterday, illustrator Vincent Quilop has announced that he’s almost set for his upcoming exhibit in Canada. It sounds like the perfect moment for us to become stage kababayans once again, and we’ll probably be sneaking into his Instagram stories from time to time to ride along with his trip. But before he showcases his talent in Canada, he needs you, me, and everyone to help him raise funds for his expected expenses. And yeah, we’ll get something cool in return.
Hello! I’m taking in a limited number of commissions to help me raise funds for my upcoming exhibit in Canada. I can paint your favorite place, a memorable spot, fastfood joint, yung favorite pregame 7-eleven niyo, a still-life of your sneakers, bisikleta, motor, bahay mo, bahay ng kapitbahay mo, bahay ng crush mo, sapatos ng crush mo (????) etc. kung interested kayo in commissioning me a portrait, PM lang kayo kasi pang-landscape/still-life presyuhan lang to. 🤪 Thank you, daghang salamat, khob khun krub, xie xie! <3
Vin, who is known for watercolor paintings of places he visits, is taking a limited number of painting commissions. You can score an unframed 4 x 6″ piece at P4,000 and a 7 x 10″ work at P10,000. As of now, you can commission him to do landscape, food, and still-life watercolor paintings. So, if you’ve always wanted a beautifully crafted watercolor version of your favorite spot in Manila, a photo from your Europe trip, your childhood bicycle in the province, the tall posts of your university, or even your crush’s shoes, get in touch with Vin now.
If you want to help send Vin to Canada, reach out for requests through Facebook or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
