Nothing is sacred: A Duterte-Go parody fancam apparently exists

SHARE

People in power might do questionable deeds, but so is this Duterte-Go parody fancam.

Everyone has a fancam these days. If a person has a bias, there’s a fancam out there for them. Yes, even government officials like Mayor Vico Sotto or Congressperson Sarah Elago have a couple floating around the virtual ether.

Doing a fancam for President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go is a line we shouldn’t cross. But in our plague year, the “fuck it” energy is strong.

Twitter user @maroontito seems to have made the fancam of our nightmares. In his parody edit, the bromance between these two public figures has entered the chat. The bros-support-bros vibes are here whether we hate it or despise it or both. It’s definitely both for me.

This fancam even highlights Sen. Go’s viral D30 caricature found in his office months ago. That, and it used James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s “Bahala Na” as background track. It may have ruined this nostalgic JaDine track for stans everywhere.

In the past few years, the internet has given us similar parodies like Sen. Roque’s Shippuden intro and actual serious government fanservice like DuBredo fanfics. We can add this fancam to the list of weird satirical parodies. That, and it proves to everyone that nothing is sacred on the internet.

Nope, not even fancams.
