While online shopping has been our go-to form of therapy the past few months (big thanks to all the delivery teams), it’s also hard to turn a blind eye to the waste in online retail’s wake. Fashion waste includes unsold garments and excess materials that make up at least 10 percent of the world’s carbon emission. If looks could kill, your clothes very much could, too, girl.

As more retail giants continue to mass produce clothes, the fight to lessen waste is surely far from over. Luckily, there’s a local clothing brand known as Our Revival that’s taking this head on and boy, are we #blessed.

This Baguio-based clothing brand ties in sustainability with creative expression through the use of repurposed clothes. From recreating classics to crafting new silhouettes, Our Revival has taken and embraced their purpose to help innovate the Philippine fashion industry.

With every drop carrying 1/1 pieces, it’s safe to say that we’re already in line for their newest collection as we speak. The collection called ‘Heaven and Hell’ features two drops that introduce us to two different personalities. Heaven, which dropped back in July, was a masterpiece of color brought by tie-dye patterns and custom legwear. And yesterday they officially dropped the last piece of their collection. Hell comes in full effect, and we’re all in for it.

Hell, which takes its inspiration from the nine circles of hell and the seven deadly sins, is a curation worthy of heaven’s approval. Not only are these garments made from brands like Carhartt and Dickies, each pair was also handpainted by two of Baguio’s local artists. Talk about quality, ma.

With a total of 16 pieces, and prices ranging from P1,500 to P3,000, copping from Our Revival is surely beneficial for both you and the entire world. Peep the entire drop here:
