Some people say their childhood dreams are dead. But with Adidas’ new Pokemon collection, they have probably just come back to life. Revive your dreams to be the very best (that no one ever was) with the clothing brand’s latest anime collab of the year.

Launched last week, the collection features classic 8-bit aesthetics as an homage to the iconic Nintendo Pokemon games. Fans of the franchise would see patterns of pixels, gradients, and textures combined with Adidas’ retro staples like Phospheres and its classic black tracksuit.

“This collaboration between Pokémon and adidas sees two of the world’s biggest brands combine to create a unique clothing capsule for Pokémon Trainers,” says Colin Palmer, Vice President of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International in a press statement. “Together, we’ve reimagined timeless adidas staples, giving them a classic but distinctly Pokémon refresh to create a stylish new line that will enable fans to look the part while leveling-up their love of Pokémon games.”

The collection’s highlights are the running-style Prospheres with contemporary illustrations of starter Pokemons on the tongue, the classic black tracksuit jacket with “Pokemon Trainer” written at the back, and the tapered cuff pants with the collaboration’s logo subtly printed on it.

Basic crew neck tees with the Adidas logo and pixelized illustrations of Pokemon are also available for purchase. Apart from this, they also made a youth collection which includes the Adidas Advantage and Hoops Mid 2.0 shoes. The basic tees and classic tracksuits are available in standard sizes as well.

If you’re a frustrated Pokemon master like me, then this collab might just satisfy us (in case Pokemon Switch 2020 never happens). Cop the collection at their site or in selected Adidas outlets worldwide.
