Meet your new fave white sneaks: The “White Hot” Nike Air Max ’97

Our addiction to white kicks is understandable—and Nike’s new Air Max ’97 drop is here to feed it.

Meet your new fave pair of white kicks: The “White Hot” Air Max ’97. With its all-white up top and blue translucent outsoles, this Japanese bullet-train inspired colorway is perfect for anyone who wants a new staple piece on their shelves. It fits any mid-year sneaker rotation. Plus, like most white sneakers, it looks like a classic.

Apart from its classic colorway, let’s not ignore its intricate details. Check out the white flame emoji etched onto the mid-panel where the brand’s customary mini-Swoosh should be. Instead, we can see the iconic Swoosh moved to the mudguard, while another flame emoji appears by the underfoot.

According to SneakerNews, it’s priced around $170 USD. No news if the “White Hot” Air Max 97 will hit our local stores. There’s no definite release date as well. But it’s possible we can expect this pair dropping on Air Max Day this March, maybe even sooner if we’re lucky.

In the meantime, let’s keep an eye on our fave sneaker leaks Twitter accounts, or the actual Nike website (if you’re feeling obedient).
