We might get a Billie Eilish documentary on Apple soon

Everybody’s already invested in the enigma that is Billie Eilish. The 17-year-old singer is already topping charts and acting wise beyond her years, and we all want to know what exactly goes on behind those, ehem, ocean eyes.

Well, it looks like we’re getting a glimpse real soon. The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has confirmed with multiple sources that Apple TV+ is paying big bucks—$25M, to be exact—to purchase an already shot documentary of Billie’s 2019.

The film is directed by R.J. Cutler, who also helmed the 2014 Y.A. drama film, “If I Stay”. According to a THR source, the film’s budget was at $1M to $2M. It is said to show Billie’s life post-debut as she skyrocketed to fame. The film is also said to include intimate behind-the-scenes moments of Billie and her family.

The rumored release will be sometime next year on Apple TV+.

Love her or hate her, looks like we’re all definitely seeing more of Billie Eilish this coming 2020.
