This new exhibit gives the spotlight to 30 young local artists under 30

Ever wondered who among our generation will stand out in the future? Like who’s going to be remembered to define our generation? If not, you’re in the right path. Why wonder about the future when you can think about the now? Why wait for tomorrow?

Pineapple Lab aims to paint a picture of the talent of the youth today through their main exhibit for the month of July entitled “The Undercurrent: 30 Artists Under 30.” Curated by the Pineapple Lab Team with Programs & Galleries Manager Fiona Lazaro taking the lead, the exhibit will feature the current generation of artists including Nika Dizon, Rob Cham, Jappy Agoncillo, Soleil Ignacio, Kris Abrigo, Ramon Afabile, Chalk Zaldivar, Jan Fresco, Gabby Nazareno, Ivy Pangilinan, Vincent Quilop, RC RC, Adam Red, Mark Jeffrey Santos, Art Tavera, Che Bantayan, Reen Barrera, Vida Alegre, Jill Arteche, Christine Chung, Paulo Correa, Chino Carlo, Kristine Caguiat, Miguel Luis, Laurel Veronica, Jessica Dorizac, Uriel Cui, Nino Cubacub, Isobel Francisco,  and Claudine Delfin. Various works will be displayed in different mediums from sculptures to graphic design, perfectly capturing the different artistic styles and techniques that set each of the artists apart.

Pineapple Lab is a Makati-based creative hub committed to providing a space for local and international artists and cultural organizations to practice any form of art, while bringing it closer to the local community as well. With that goal in mind, they will be putting up

The Undercurrent will be open to the public from July 13 until July 30 with an artists’ reception to be held on its opening day at 6PM.
