Calling all Marvel fans: If you’ve had your fill of the MCU, you might want to flip through the digital pages of the comics that started it all. The publishing giant is now giving free access to its classic comic books, but for a limited time only.
From Apr. 2 to May 4, digital subscription app Marvel Unlimited is offering its most iconic pieces from its wide selection, free of charge. From origin stories to the critically acclaimed, these classics include “Captain Marvel,” “Civil War,” “Black Panther,” “Captain America: Winter Soldier” and a whole lot more.
In par with the free offerings from various websites, Marvel released a statement about this particular move. “Fans who are social distancing will be able to escape into the Marvel Universe and revisit their favorite stories from a curated selection of complete story arcs,” an official post reads.
To gain access to the comics, all you need to do is download the Marvel Unlimited app that’s available on both iOS and Android. And no, you don’t need to enter your credit card details for a trial subscription. Just click on “Free Comics” as seen on the landing screen, and you’re good to go.
