“Panaderyuhh” MV by Pure Mind Quiet Heart – The moment I stumbled upon this music video I knew I was in trouble. First “Tyapuseat” now this. I have no other choice but to repeat this during the course of my evening. I find myself washing the dishes, taking a shower, even tricking myself to sleep while I’m playing the music video on my iphone SE. It’s 1am and my phone is heating up, and I still here the same intro, the same beat, “pag binato ka ng bato, batuhin mo ng pan de coco” over and over again. Food-related localized meme raps are my sonic weakness.
JMSN Live in Manila on November 8 – The first thing I think off when JMSN comes to mind was his Jesus-looking, Michael Jackson-sounding vibe from when the “‘Bout It” music video was released a couple of years back. I admit I haven’t followed the guy’s music closely (I think he worked with TDE at one point?) but hey, I know this guy is a bop. JMSN’s coming to XX XX this November 8 for the Manila leg of his Asia tour. Good stuff. More deets here.

“ALL EYES ON YOU feat. GOODMOODGOKU” by PARKGOLF – Got to see PARKGOLF play at XX XX last Saturday for BuwanBuwan Collective x Maltine Records’ WSK AXIS 2017 gig “x-pol.” It was wild. TORIENA’s set was especially crazy. It’s weird because it’s really like I was back in Japan, but like I’m here. You know? Anyways, this is my fave song from PARKGOLF.
Stranger Things 2 – I haven’t watched this yet (because I’m a loser who doesn’t have Netflix), but I already hit up a bunch of friends to lend me their accounts. I figure, I’d include it in my #ScoutFaves since, there’s only two of us in the office and someone has to talk about Stranger Things.
