This weekend’s Graphika Manila is your ticket to learn from the world’s top creative minds

Are you a fan of Beeple and Matthew Encina? How about the works of Cookie Studio and Super Bonfire? If you are an avid fan and follower of these artists, design studios, and more, then you might want to check out Graphika Manila’s two-day conference this year.

The largest and longest-running creative gathering in Asia, Graphika Manila, is set to take place on Feb. 11 and 12 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila. The 14-speaker lineup will be headlined by world-renowned digital artist Beeple. His piece “Everydays: The First 5000 Days” sold for US$69.3 million at Christie’s in 2021, making him the third most valuable living artist at that time.

This year’s Graphika Manila is slated to be one of the most comprehensive and diverse yet, featuring a range of topics: Mitsuko Ono from Osaka exploring experiential art in Augmented Reality, Burton Rast from Google in California examining psychological implications of working in high-level design roles, and Matthew Encina from Los Angeles giving advice on navigating your creative process.

Also joining in are premier design studios from around the world: Super Bonfire from Beijing, Cookie Studio from London, and Territory Studio from San Francisco.

Moreover, local talents like illustrator Soleil Ignacio, type designer Jo Malinis, paper sculpture artist Patrick Cabral, apparel designer Dan Fajardo, and comic artist Manix Abrera will all share their experiences and insights and represent the diversity and creativity of the local creative community. Two featured speakers under Asus Philippines are also joining: Jason Magbanua, a visual storyteller and wedding videographer, and artist Kevin Eric Raymundo a.k.a Tarantadong Kalbo.

Embrace your inner artist and discover the future of creativity this weekend at Graphika Manila. Tickets are available at www.graphikamanila.com.
