BEDSPACER is now signed to an LA-based label

Get ready for launch as local music goes interstellar this 2019. Artist Mich Cervantes, alongside her music alter-ego BEDSPACER, are now signed artists under Zoom Lens.

Zoom Lens made the official announcement earlier today in their social media platforms. Their Instagram post describes and congratulates the local electro-musician. They also teased the drop of BEDSPACER’s debut single for next week. This marks their first track under the LA label.

As an independent label based in LA, they plan to “broaden the definitions of punk as well as dreamy indie with 8-bit and rave euphoria.” BEDSPACER will join the ranks of U-PISTOL/Moonmask as the second Filipino musician to be in this label.

Back in August, we interviewed Mich as a part of our “Leaders of the New Cool” feature. She teased the possible release of her EP supposedly set for late 2018. Maybe the BEDSPACER EP we’re all anticipating will be released this year under the new label.

In the meantime, we’ll remain lurking on this genderless alien’s Soundcloud. Does anyone know how to translate sick glitch beats into English? We’re trying to get this alien to communicate back to their home planet.
