Hey Harry Roque, will my Krusty Krab ID pass checkpoints?

Day N of quarantine: Are you self-employed? Well, Harry Roque is looking at you.

In a virtual press briefing on May 13, the presidential spokesperson said that freelancers of the workforce can now make their own IDs so they could travel for work-related reasons. “Unfortunately, dahil nga po ang pag-travel from GCQ to ECQ is only for industries na allowed, kinakailangan po talaga ng identification card,” Roque said.

Since quarantine started, only employees of essential jobs have been allowed to go to their respective workplaces, having their company-issued IDs probed at checkpoints. Roque also clarified that self-employed folks will be allowed job-related travel to and from modified ECQ and ECQ areas.

Before you whip out Photoshop (or Pizap, ’cause why not?), take note of the requirement. “Sa mga self-employed, pwede naman silang gumawa ng card nila at ipakita nila kung ano talaga ang gagawin nila at saang industriya iyon. Pero indispensable po iyon, otherwise, mababalewala iyong ating quarantine kung lahat ng tao ay pupuwedeng lumipat,” Roque said.

So, are you taking inspo from McLovin’s driver’s license? Or how about Patrick Star’s “this is not a driver’s license” ID? Maybe this is also your chance to live your “The Office” dream—even if it’s just up to your ID. The world is your canvas, because graphic design is your passion.

And oh, here’s the bonus: multiple tries for that ID photo.
