If you love A-list actors in unconventional flicks, then you’re a sucker for A24 films—just like the rest of us. We don’t blame you though. Who can deny gems like Jonah Hill’s “Mid90s,” Lulu Wang’s “The Farewell,” or any full-length nightmare Ari Aster has concocted (so far)?
Whether you end up loving or hating it, an A24 film finds a way to make us commit to a story for one and a half hours. Catching films under A24 is always an experience and a strange visual trip.
And now—this feeling has been made tangible through an A4 zine.

For this year’s Komiket, our fave illustrators worked on an A24 fanzine. This collab features illustrators paying homage to their favorite A24 films. It’s a project curated by Electromilk, featuring six other artists’ works.
Expect illustrations from Hulyen, Steven Comandante, Brian Avecilla, Nina Martinez, Bunny Luz, and Utes Salazar. The films they highlighted are “The Witch,” “The Lobster,” “Killing of a Sacred Deer,” “Eighth Grade,” “Lady Bird,” “A Ghost Story,” and of course, “Hereditary.”

“I had so much fun and stress drawing ‘Hereditary.’ illustrating facial expressions take a lot of work, but I am proud of the results,” reads Electromilk’s Instagram post. It’s clearly a labor of love from the artists whose zines we hoard. This fanzine will look nice in our collection too.
