Are you ready to lakad after acads because Scout Campus Tour is back! And we’re hitting up Ateneo de Manila University next.
Following our first stop this year at UP Diliman last March and our second stop De La Salle-College of St. Benilde last May, this Oct. 6, from 12nn to 6pm, we’ll be stopping by the SEC Fields of Ateneo. Drop by and come chill we us: Lex Celera (editor in chief), Denise Fernandez (associate editor), Grace de Luna (senior graphic designer), and Celene Sakurako (editorial assistant), the Scout team.
You can expect the usuals: a sweet talk and short Q+A sesh from us, a mini art exhibit a.k.a the Students’ Gallery, and of course the mighty Scout Wall that we’ve created with Pioneer, as well as the un-usual, or moreso the extraordinary, because we’re bringing in fresh new meat. Aside from showcasing our latest Proudrace x Scout collab collections “Trust” and “Pop!,” 2 cool 2 be 4gotten director Petersen Vargas will be giving us a taste of what it’d be like to be his understudy when he takes over one of the classrooms to give a special talk about storytelling through film, and The Loop will be schooling us on tech as they hold a App Duel on iPads and an extensive Final Cut Pro software demo.
We’ll just be kicking it back at the SEC Fields all afternoon taking photos at the photobooth, playing board games on site, and listening to sweet live jams by homegrown musicians lui., Ashley’s Kryptonite, The Clamshell Boxes, and Tom’s Story, so feel free to tap us on the shoulders and give us “sup?,” as well us hand in your applications for an internship or contributor. We promise, we don’t bite!
