The Last Leg of Fête de la Musique Ended On A High Note

The last leg of Fête de la Musique, which happened yesterday, June 23 at the Puerta Real Gardens, Intramuros, picked out local acts from different genres for one final evening of celebration. Square One, Banna Harbera, Hoochie Coochie Mikkie, Absolute Play, Save Me Hollywood, Jensen and the Flips, Yolanda Mood, Giniling Festival, and Up Dharma Down made their presence felt by playing their favorites for the crowd. Over the course of the evening, guests were free to stand up, dance, or move to the back of the event grounds where various food and beverage stalls were located. In addition to the Scout booth, there even was a booth from a major coffee brand. Who knew live music and cold coffee could be a perfect match?

The audience wasn’t all young either, as some of the people who work inside Intramuros listened in as well. There truly was something for everyone here. But if you missed it, I suggest you seek out the music of the acts mentioned while browsing our gallery above.

See you all again next year.
