IRL Pride month festivities are a go. But besides walking the streets with Pride on your sleeves, June’s events also include watching films—and tons of ’em. How? Through a film fest, of course.

After May’s free films for National Heritage Month, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is spotlighting LGBTQIA+-related films in June through the Pelikulaya International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. In celebration of Pride Month, several independent cinema houses across regions are screening a variety of queer films, both local and international, from June 10 to 26.

The “Spectra Pelikula” films—including Isabel Sandoval’s “Lingua Franca” and BL hit “Gameboys: The Movie”—will be screened at Cinema ’76 Anonas and Cinematheque Centres in Manila, Iloilo, Negros, Davao, and Nabunturan.

Aside from this roster, picks such as “Billie and Emma,” “Memories of Forgetting,” “Ang Tatay Kong Nanay,” “Kasal,” “Tale of the Lost Boys,” “Pink Halo-Halo,” and “Traslacion: Ang Paglakad Sa Altar ng Alanganin” can be screened by subscribing through FDCP’s online channel for P99.

If you’re on the hunt for free films, special screenings will also be held at Cinematheque branches and the Metropolitan Theater.

But a tiny fine print for all: Slots will be limited. Check out the Filipino film sched below.
