The team behind Head In The Clouds Manila just dropped another bomb.
After inviting the Philippines to “play” and revealing the most-hypothesized HITC Manila lineup, Asian-centric music collective 88rising has divulged another surprise on social media today, Nov. 21.
Joining the roster of performers are P-pop superstars SB19, rising Filipino R&B act Denise Julia, DJ and music producer Manila Killa, and L.A.-born-slash-Koreatown-based rapper AUGUST 08. In an Instagram post, Filipino-American artist Manila Killa said: “PHILIPPINES I’M COMING HOME.”

To maximize our experience, we’re currently manifesting these songs at the festival for a mix of energy and soul: Manila Killa’s “Reminisce” (feat. Yuna), SB19’s “WYAT” (“Where You At”), AUGUST 08’s “Funeral,” and Denise Julia’s “NVMD,” the song we’ve been looping on TikTok.
In case you haven’t noticed, 88rising also left some question marks on the poster above—leaving room for guesses for “one more surprise” dropping this week. Any ideas?
The Head In The Clouds Festival is slated to grace the Manila stage on Dec. 9 and 10 at the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque City. Announced earlier are headliners: Joji, Jackson Wang, NIKI, Rich Brian, and more.
